Responsibilities

  • Uses a pneumatic nail gun to repair or assemble pallets.
  • In a repair department: places pallet on repair table, removes defective boards, replaces new boards, and nails replaced boards into place.
  • In an assembly department: takes stock boards and nails them together based on type of pallet desired.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting jams and basic maintenance of the saw.
  • Work requires operator to stand for long periods of time.
  • Operators must be able to repeatedly lift a pallet weighing 50-75 lbs.
  • Nail guns must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times.
  • Other duties may be assigned based on the needs of the business.

Requirements

  • Repair Operators must have physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and endurance.
  • Must be able to concentrate on tasks.
  • The ability to understand and communicate information is essential.

Preferred Skills

  • 2+ years previous experience working in an industrial, fast-moving setting with industrial machinery.

Schedule

2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday with overtime.
