Pallet/Pit Tech
Responsibilities
- Operating PITs: Use forklifts, order pickers, and other equipment to move materials.
- Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading/unloading vehicles.
- Material Handling: Move, locate, relocate, and stack items.
- Staging and Pallet Building: Prepare materials for delivery.
- Safety: Ensure safe operation and adherence to safety protocols.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic inspections and maintenance.
- Clean and Maintain Buildings/Facilities: Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment.
- Notify Manager: Concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
- Compliance: Follow all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.
- Preferred: Attention to Detail, Ability to Follow Instructions, Teamwork, Customer service experience, 1 year of similar work experience.
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Pallet/Pit Tech to operate various industrial vehicles to move materials and pallets within a warehouse or industrial setting. This may involve using forklifts, order pickers, and other equipment to lift, stack, and transport items. The Pallet/Pit Tech also assists with loading and unloading vehicles and may be responsible for tasks like building pallets. As well as additional cleaning duties within the warehouse.
Schedule
Saturday and Sunday (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm)

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on the applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
