Pallet Jack Operator - Pack Off

About the role

Ensures orders are processed in accordance with Boar’s Head's customer service standards. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures. Works without close supervision; typically reports to a lead, supervisor, and/or manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks as described and assigned by the Department Supervisor/Lead.
• Keep pace with work area and team.
• Work as a team player to ensure product specifications are attained in a safe and efficient manner and communicate well with other team members.
• Maintain a positive and productive working relationship with all associates, coworkers, and upper management.
• Operate Pallet Jack.
• Assist other departments as assigned by Supervisor/Lead/Manager.
• Follow company’s GMP’s, SOP’s, Rules, and Policies.
• Follow written and oral instructions.
• Strive to satisfy the requirements of internal and external customers.
• Keep work area clean.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
• Occasionally required to climb or balance.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
• Regularly exposed to extreme cold and frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
• Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and toxic or caustic chemicals.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
