Palantir Data Engineer

We’re looking for someone to support complex data exploration and analytics projects through experience with Palantir for Defense clients. As an AI Solutions Architect on our Defense Technology team, you’ll introduce innovative methodologies to make a real-world impact on protecting our military. You’ll share your skills in data engineering, data science modeling, and technology integration to shape the future of analytics by developing solutions to drive the mission forward. We’ll keep you sharp and moving forward in your career, with access to the latest tools and methods and opportunities to publish or present at conferences. Whether you’re improving government efficiency or providing better services to the public, you’ll lead a team that serves critical missions from end to end.
Responsibilities
- Develop applications using Palantir Foundry AIP
- Ingest and transform data using Data Connections, Code Repos, or Pipeline Builder
- Build Foundry applications and workflows in Workshop and Ontology Manager
- Collaborate with Agile software teams, conduct code reviews, and implement DevSecOps practices
- Engage with stakeholders, define requirements, and translate them into technical solutions
- Integrate AI or ML models within Foundry applications (preferred)
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Palantir Foundry AIP for application development
- Experience with Python or TypeScript
- Experience with Git repositories, CI/CD workflows, or infrastructure automation
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Qualifications
- Experience with mission analytics or government-focused data solutions
- Knowledge of Foundry security models, access control, and compliance frameworks
- Master's degree in Computer Science

Pay
Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).

Work models:
- Remote: Primarily virtual, with occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
- Hybrid: Frequent work from a Booz Allen facility, with potential visits to customer facilities.

Employees working virtually are generally expected to have their cameras on during meetings to support engagement and effective communication.
