Painting Contractor

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Painting Contractors to support renovation, maintenance, and property preparation projects across our portfolio.

This is a 1099 contractor role offering flexible, project-based scheduling. Projects are assigned based on property needs, scope, and timelines, allowing you to take on work that aligns with your availability and capacity.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior painting for residential and light commercial properties
• Prepare surfaces (patching, sanding, priming, caulking) for high-quality finishes
• Apply paint, coatings, and finishes using proper techniques and equipment
• Ensure clean lines, smooth finishes, and professional presentation
• Maintain job site cleanliness and organization
• Communicate project progress, timelines, and completion updates

Requirements

• Valid contractor license (if required by State of Florida/local regulations)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Proven experience in residential and/or light commercial painting
• Able to complete interior and exterior painting projects
• Knowledge of surface preparation, priming, and finishing techniques
• Must have your own tools, equipment, and supplies (sprayers, rollers, ladders, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and high-quality finishing standards
• Able to manage projects, timelines, and job site cleanliness
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
