Responsibilities

• Reads work order and receives instructions verbally.
• Prepares surface using methods appropriate to remove dirt, oil, grease, removing old paint, smoothing cracks, and filling holes.
• Works at heights with no fear.
• Fills cavities and dents with putty to attain smooth surface.
• Selects and mixes coating liquid to produce desired color, according to specifications using paddle or mechanical mixer.
• Applies paint to surface using a spray gun, brush, and/or roller.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Required: 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience.
• Physical Demands: Regularly sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear, taste or smell. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities: Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
