Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and repair to county property by painting interior and exterior of facilities and removing graffiti from grounds, buildings, walls, and sidewalks.
• Makes regular inspections of assigned facilities to look for maintenance and safety issues, including inspecting facility parking lots to assess the need for restriping.
• Maintains adequate inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment needed to perform tasks, including initiating purchase requisitions for needed material and supplies.
• Schedules and coordinates painting activities to meet deadlines, keeps accurate daily reports of work completed, and employs safe work practices.
• Responds to emergency situations during non-typical work hours.

Requirements

• Four (4) years of related experience; OR an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
• Must pass a required pre-employment background check through fingerprinting and enrollment in the continuous RAP Back (Record of Arrest and Prosecution Back) program.
• A valid Driver's License issued by the State of Utah may be required to operate a vehicle.
