Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare parts for masking
• Smooth surfaces with sandpaper
• Mask components and assemblies for application of surface treatments
• Work to specific procedures and understand technical data to use proper materials
• Mix products prior to application
• Apply surface treatments (primer, paint, texture, clearcoat, etc.) using brushes, rollers, and spray guns
• Disassemble and clean paint application equipment
• Understand and locate revision levels on drawings, specifications, and materials
• Maintain documentation such as work orders and parts tags
• Train other technicians on correct use of tools and processes
• Understand and comply with safety policies, ensuring self and others in the area are wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Minimum five (5) years related manufacturing experience, or minimum four (4) years of relevant aerospace experience
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical engineering drawings, including GD&T symbols
• Familiar with MS Office suite
• Able to navigate folders and locate drawings, specifications, and other required information
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Individual contributor who is generally self-sufficient and requires little to no supervisor input to complete tasks

Work Environment

Full-time position in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
