About the role
Bilfinger UK is seeking a Painter/Decorator to join their team at GSK in Montrose. The position is expected to start as soon as possible and last for 6-8 weeks. The shift pattern is Monday to Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
Responsibilities
- Painting and decorating surfaces according to specifications
- Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and health and safety standards
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order
- Completing tasks efficiently within the given timeframe
Requirements
- Valid National Apprenticeship Endorsement Certificate (NAECI)
- Knowledge of Construction Industry Safety Standards Scheme (CISRS) or equivalent
- Confined Space Entry Certificate (CCNSG) or Construction Scaffold Safety Scheme (CSCS) or Emergency Management Services Scheme (EMSS)
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in painting and decorating, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. A valid certificate in the required safety schemes is essential.
