Painter - Facilities Maintenance
Summary of Position
Responsible to repair damaged plaster and drywall. Apply protective and decorative coatings and finishes to walls and equipment. Apply finishes to furnishings and casework produced by others. Install and repair wallcoverings.
Minimum Qualification(s)
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- One (1) year job related experience in the painting/decorating field required.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Must complete a written skills demonstration requiring 75% passing grade and a hands-on skills test.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S)
- Operation of tractors, forklifts, bucket truck, high lift and other types of equipment preferred.
