Painter - Construction

Responsibilities

• Maintains building components such as ceilings, walls, drywall, and other painted surfaces.
• Under supervision, maintains building components including floors, roofs, doors, windows, elevators, stairways, and building interior & exterior.
• Repairs doors, windows, furniture, and building framework.
• Paints walls, doors, windows, trim; replaces ceiling tile and/or grid and vinyl base.
• Repairs fire-rated wall, ceiling, and floor assembly penetrations with approved UL-rated firestop compounds.
• Maintains inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
• Reviews Work Orders daily and completes associated tasks/repairs by Type/Priority.
• Responds quickly in the event of an emergency, notifies appropriate personnel, and follows safety protocols.
• Makes initial determination of how to affect repairs and refers extensive repairs to appropriate technician.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Due to insurance regulations, must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license.
• High School diploma or GED.
