Responsibilities

• Reads work order and receives instructions verbally.
• Prepares surface using methods appropriate to remove dirt, oil, grease, removing old paint, smoothing cracks, and filling holes.
• Works at heights with no fear.
• Fills cavities and dents with putty to attain smooth surface.
• Selects and mixes coating liquid to produce desired color, according to specifications using paddle or mechanical mixer.
• Applies paint to surface using a spray gun, brush, and/or roller.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Required: 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience.
• Physical Demands: Regularly sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
