Painter

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and apply lining and coatings to steel pipe
• Surface clean steel pipe
• Apply protective coverings to areas of the pipe that should not be painted
• Operate painting machines, compressors, and other related equipment
• Follow all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Perform routine maintenance on coatings equipment
• Set up and prepare the paint area
• Maintain accurate records of work completed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Bilingual is a plus
• Computer literate
• Attention to detail and committed to quality
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
