About the role
U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated facility management service, is seeking a Painter for our Philadelphia, PA location.
Responsibilities
- Repaint damage or deteriorated surfaces
- Paint new work installed by others
- Touch up painted areas
- Clean and prep painted areas
- Works with other staff as assigned or independently
- Reports to supervisory personnel for material list and timelines for the completion of a project.
- Make light carpentry/masonry repairs in preparation for area to be painted.
- Install ceiling tiles, floor tiles, walls/base trim in areas as assigned
Qualifications
- Basic literacy and the strength and dexterity required to perform heavy lifting tasks.
- High School Diploma, GED or Trade School
- Must provide own basic hand tools and test equipment
- Capable of reading drawings and layouts
- Must be able to read and speak English clearly
- Valid Driver's license
- Able to climb ladders and walk long distances.
- Able to pass Background Investigation without Criminal history.
- Must be able to pass Pre-employment Drug Screening and Random Drug Testing.
- Must be able to work overtime when required.
- Must be able to work in all climate conditions.
- Will be working in a Correctional environment, which is a 24/7 operation.
