About the role

An industrial painter is responsible for surface preparation, paint application, and maintaining a clean work environment. Duties include power‑washing surfaces, performing substrate preparation, mixing paints, and applying coatings to fabricated metal products. Attention to detail, knowledge of painting techniques, and physical stamina are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepares surfaces for paint application, including power‑washing and cleaning.
• Selects appropriate paint types for each surface.
• Monitors paint inventory and tools.
• Collaborates with other painters to ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Performs basic maintenance tasks when not painting.
• Maintains a general understanding of automated material handling and paint systems.
• Ensures reliability of the washer through verification procedures.

Requirements

• Experience preferred in industrial‑level painting.
• Performs thorough work to avoid mistakes.
• Capable of applying paint to various materials.
• Able to work well with others or independently.
• Physical condition: good health for job requirements, including lifting, climbing ladders, and bending.
