About the role

We are seeking a Painter to maintain the property's finishes according to our color scheme preferences. Responsibilities include applying primers or sealers, removing old finishes, covering surfaces for protection, applying paints, stains, and varnishes, cleaning up, and coordinating with vendors for color modifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property finishes according to color scheme preferences
• Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces
• Remove old finishes by stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, or using water and/or abrasive blasting
• Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape for protection during painting
• Apply paint, stain, varnish, enamel, and other finishes to property walls, ceilings, and furniture
• Use brushes, spray guns, or rollers for application
• Clean up and store paint and painting tools in appropriate areas
• Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape for protection during painting
• Coordinate with vendors to modify paint, stain, or varnish colors with additives
• Use proper equipment, wear PPE, and follow lifting procedures to avoid injury
• Report any maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards to the manager/supervisor immediately

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a professional painter
• Basic knowledge of carpentry
• Positive attitude and friendly demeanor
• Ability to communicate in English with team members and guests
