Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring a Full-time, Rotating-Shift Painter.

Position Details

Full-time, Rotating Shift with flexibility to work Day Shift, and work after hours, at night, and on the weekends. Located at Sentara Leigh Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all phases of commercial painting and finish work for walls, equipment, buildings, and other structural surfaces.
• Performs interior design, painting, power washing, wallpaper installation, and removal.
• Assists with furniture moves, cleaning of vents, and other Environment Service needs as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)
• Valid and Current Driver’s License (Required)
• 2 years of Related experience (Required)
• Commercial Painting experience (Preferred)

About Sentara Leigh Hospital

Sentara Leigh Hospital, located in Norfolk, VA, is a 274-bed acute care facility that opened in 1903 and relocated to its present site in 1977. The hospital completed a renovation in 2016, including two new patient towers, a beautiful atrium, and a multi-story parking garage. It includes a dedicated Orthopedic Hospital, is a recognized accredited Primary Stroke Center, and Magnet hospital for nursing excellence. Specializations include orthopedic and spine care, heart, vascular, maternity care, and general surgery. The hospital is also home to the region’s only 24-hour hyperbaric oxygen program.
