About the role

Pepper Construction is a national general contracting and construction management firm serving the private sector. The company combines the experience and resources of a national company with the hands-on approach of a local company.

Responsibilities

• Select the best paint or finish for surfaces based on safety, durability, method of application, ease of handling, and customer desires.
• Apply decorative finishes including stenciling, gold leafing, and faux finishes for the restoration of historic buildings, private residences, and commercial projects.
• Handle specialty coatings projects such as bridges and water towers.
• Install and hang wallpapers, fabrics, and heavy duty production vinyl wallcoverings.

Requirements

Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to follow detailed instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in painting and wallpaper installation preferred.

Skills

• Attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently.
