Painter
What You Will Experience in this Position
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying appropriate primers
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades
- Apply paint using various methods such as brushes, rollers, or spray guns
- Ensure quality control by inspecting finished work for imperfections
- Maintain painting equipment and tools in good working condition
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in industrial painting or a related field
- Familiarity with warehouse operations
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment setup and maintenance
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles is a plus
- Experience with auto body repair techniques is beneficial
- Ability to operate a forklift for material handling tasks
- Skill in assembling components after painting processes
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments for accurate work
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Qualifications
