Painter

About the role

This is a full-time, year-round position working on Mackinac Island at Mission Point Resort, Mackinac Island's only full-service, casual resort. The Painter will assist and contribute to the Facilities Department, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Painting, plastering, and wallpapering of guest rooms and public areas of the Resort
• Installing and repairing drywall, plaster, and wallpaper
• Following detailed and specific procedures and processes in completing department and/or project tasks
• Maintaining a clean and safe workplace

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent education
• Minimum of one year of commercial painting experience
• Mechanically inclined with an upbeat personality
• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment
