About the role

Join our winning team as a Seasonal Painter at Lakes Gas, a family-owned propane provider in the Midwest.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and inspect company properties
• Paint tanks
• Filling cylinders
• Upkeep of company plant
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Comply with DOT regulations, state and local laws
• Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Capable of working in extreme temperatures, humidity, and other environmental conditions
• Communicate clearly both written and verbally in the English language
• Able to adjust schedule to fit manager’s requirements and requests or seasonal weather patterns
• Dependability and reliability are essential

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret, and understand the English language to understand task procedures, product labels, work orders, informational and warning signage

Skills

• Safety conscious
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Strong attention to detail

Benefits

• Seasonal non-exempt hourly position
• Generally works from June through beginning of September
• Salary range: $15/hour to $18/hour
