About the role
Join our winning team as a Seasonal Painter at Lakes Gas, a family-owned propane provider in the Midwest.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and inspect company properties
- Paint tanks
- Filling cylinders
- Upkeep of company plant
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Comply with DOT regulations, state and local laws
- Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Capable of working in extreme temperatures, humidity, and other environmental conditions
- Communicate clearly both written and verbally in the English language
- Able to adjust schedule to fit manager’s requirements and requests or seasonal weather patterns
- Dependability and reliability are essential
Qualifications
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand the English language to understand task procedures, product labels, work orders, informational and warning signage
Skills
- Safety conscious
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Strong attention to detail
Benefits
- Seasonal non-exempt hourly position
- Generally works from June through beginning of September
- Salary range: $15/hour to $18/hour
