What You'll Do
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and other surfaces.
- Perform interior and exterior painting projects at apartment communities.
- Complete drywall repairs, texture matching, and surface preparation to ensure a professional finish.
- Paint apartment homes, common areas, offices, amenity spaces, and other community features.
- Maintain painting tools, equipment, and supplies in a clean and organized manner.
- Protect surrounding areas and furnishings during painting projects.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas while minimizing disruption to residents.
- Accurately document time tracking, daily logs, and assigned work orders.
- When painting jobs are complete, assist with work orders and apartment turnover preparation to ensure units are perfect for our residents and are move-in ready (30% of job will consist of these tasks).
- Assist with snow removal and salting of walkways as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Previous professional painting experience required; multifamily, residential, or commercial painting experience preferred.
- Experience with drywall repair, patching, texturing, and surface preparation.
- Knowledge of painting techniques, products, finishes, and proper application methods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with residents and team members.
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and auto insurance are required.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- Availability between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
