Painter

We are seeking an experienced Painter for our HMF Express facility in Houston, TX. The candidate will collaborate closely with Area Leads and the Production Supervisor to ensure department standards and production schedules are met. This role requires skilled paint application work, from preparation to the final finishing stages.

Responsibilities

• Review and comprehend project specifications.
• Inspect for final prep and manage the loading and unloading of paint and supplies, ensuring color and finish tolerances are met.
• Keep track of paint and supply inventories, and alert the Lead when replenishment is needed.
• Perform quality assurance checks throughout the painting process.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Proficiency in executing SOP, quality, and safety practices.
• Familiarity with the use of respiratory PPE; successful completion of fit testing requirements is necessary.
• Knowledge of proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Ability to frequently lift 25-50 pounds.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective prioritization and workflow management skills to meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new tasks and concepts.

• 1 year of experience in industrial or auto body painting.
