Painter

Key Responsibilities

• Mix paints, enamels, and lacquers to specified colors, consistencies and viscosities for spraying and/or brushing
• Prepare surfaces and apply coatings to various parts or products using standard methods
• Paint for machine finish and appearance
• Touch up marred surfaces
• Provide for the operating maintenance of equipment
• Properly store painting supplies
• Detect faulty operation, defective material, and refer these and other situations to supervisor

Qualifications

• High School or Technical School Diploma
• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment preferred
