Location: New Prague, MN, United States, 56071 Company: Chart Industries Ensuring Chart’s Success… Chart’s Painters are critical to preparing and painting cryogenic units using different preparation materials and spraying equipment as one of the final steps in the manufacturing process. 2nd Shift Position: 2:45pm - 12:45am Monday - Thursday What Will You Do? Mix paint to designated specificationsPrep units prior to painting using a blasting booth and other handpreparation methodsPrime units prior to painting using an epoxy primer and urethane paint air assist mixing system.Perform daily inspections and documentation on equipment, filters, and paint readingsPerform necessarytouchups when neededPerform maintenance on booth and paint sprayerClean paint spraying equipmentAdhere to painting specificationsAdhere to printed work instruction manualsObserve and practice safety procedures and policies, participate in department safety meetings and initiativesMay be asked to work in other areas as company need requiresOther duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager Your Physical Work Environment Will Require… Frequent lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs. and occasionally heavier (50-60 lbs.) with assistanceFrequent sitting, standing, stooping, bending, twisting, walking and occasional crawlingFrequent pushing, pulling and handling of materialsOccasional climbing and working at elevated positionsExposure to metal cutting, welding odors, welding flash and incidental acceptable limits of x-ray radiationPossible exposure to chemical odors and temperature extremesExposure to overhead objects and occasional flying debrisRequired use of respirator, safety glasses with side shields, ANSI approved steel-toed safety shoes, hearing protection and hard hat Your Experience Should Be...
