Essential Functions Transports equipment and parts to the paint room and positions for paintingAssembles spray gun and equipment and prepares paint and gun for paintingSpray paints equipment and parts per Customer Order with specified colorCleans paint booth, lights and spray gun equipmentMaintains the filters on the Paint Booth and records the Change outMaintain the Waste Paint Barrels and Paint ShedNotifies Purchasing of Paint, equipment, filters, stickers and misc. supplies neededPainter will be required to do other jobs in the department GENERAL INFORMATION Transports equipment in a Safe manner with two-wheel cart or pallet jack Heavy equipment should not be moved until they are dry Job Qualifications Performs other Duties as required Education: High school diploma or equivalent.Experience: One year shop experience.Skills: Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, benefits, repair and maintenance. The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull and carry objects. The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs. Using hands and arms in handling, installing, forming, positioning, and moving materials or in manipulating things such as hand tools and hoist.Requirements: Operator must work in a safe manner and must have a safe work record. Safety must be the first and foremost concern as these machines are capable of great bodily harm.
