Painter

Responsibilities

• Painting interior and exterior surfaces of residential or commercial buildings using various finishes
• Stripping old paint and preparing surfaces for new applications
• Applying filler and using power and hand tools to sand surfaces for finishing
• Installing wallpaper, vinyl wall fabrics, and other coverings or coatings
• Working on drywall installation, tape, and texture work

Requirements

• Previous painting experience and knowledge of remodeling
• A strong work ethic and pride in all work
• The ability to work efficiently without wasting materials
• Reliable transportation and tools
• Proficiency in other construction trades such as electrical wiring, masonry, and carpentry (a plus)
• 5 years experience in the construction industry
• Able to lift 50 lbs
