Aerospace Turbine Rotables, Inc. (AeTR), an FAA-certified repair station in Wichita, Kansas, specializes in the overhaul and repair of landing gear, hydraulic components, actuators, hydrostatic components, and aircraft lighting systems. AeTR is part of First Aviation Services Inc., serving corporate, military, and airline customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, paint, and finish aircraft components in accordance with company procedures and quality standards.
• Apply aviation coatings including paint, lacquer, epoxy, and related materials.
• Operate paint guns, dryers, cleaning stations, and other finishing equipment.
• Read, interpret, and follow technical data, maintenance documents, and work instructions.
• Maintain compliance with safety procedures and environmental requirements.
• Handle and work with hazardous materials in accordance with established regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and repair station documentation written in English.
• Experience with painting in the aerospace industry.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work independently or as part of a team.
• Previous painting, manufacturing, aviation, or industrial finishing experience preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must successfully complete a background check acceptable to management.
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings in accordance with company policy.

Physical Requirements

Pay

Hourly position with a salary range of $40,000 to $65,000 USD annually, based on experience, skills, qualifications, market considerations, and geographic location.
