Painter Apprentice

About the role

Responsible for painting and finishing various surfaces in commercial and residential settings. This includes preparation, application, and cleanup of paint and other finishes.

Responsibilities

• Paint and finish various surfaces including walls, ceilings, and furniture.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, priming, and cleaning.
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Work under supervision and follow project timelines.
• Assist with setup and cleanup of painting equipment and materials.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Good physical condition and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Knowledge of painting techniques and materials.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of related experience in construction or painting.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Skills

• Proficient in using painting tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
