Painter 2 California 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts to determine painting requirements based on shop paperwork
• Select and verify appropriate paint per job specifications
• Mix paint in accordance with Technical Data Sheets or manufacturer’s instructions
• Prepare surfaces, including minor sanding and cleaning
• Apply coatings such as epoxy, lacquer, resin, and final color coats
• Paint a variety of surfaces and metals using proper techniques
• Replace paint booth filters contaminated with chromate or solvents
• Adequately coordinate tasks with team members to ensure workflow efficiency
• Complete assigned tasks within designated time frames
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in aircraft painting or aerospace surface processing
• Experience with applied learning and continuous improvement
