Paint Operator
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Load Paint lines safely to its maximum capacity per the Daily Production Requirements list
- Learn all aspects of prepping unfinished parts for final topcoat
- Download painted parts safely & ensure correct part identification and delivery to correct location to maintain inventory accuracy
- Inspecting painted parts at the unload station for any quality defects
- Appropriately packing painted parts to ensure arrival to customer in good condition
- Versatile employee able to learn all aspects of Paint line duties, Load, Prep, Unload, Material Handling & Painting
Preferred Skills And Qualifications
- Previous paint experience helpful, but not required
- Ability to lift, carry and position parts weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Forklift license and experience handling large parts is helpful
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with AS400 is helpful
- Ability to follow inventory control procedures
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
About the role
Land Pride, a Division of Great Plains Mfg, currently has an opening for a 1st Shift Painter in our Lucas Facility. The hours for this position are Monday-Thursday, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (overtime on Fridays as required).
