Job Summary
About the role
Independently and Consistently Performs Intermediate Paint Detail Operations for Overall Exterior Aircraft Surfaces and Removable Parts with Minimum Supervision and Minimum Discrepancies
Responsibilities
- Reads, Speaks, Writes, Understands, and Communicates Effectively in English
- Follows Written and Verbal Instructions
- Performs Repetitive Movements and Work Overhead
- Works on Upper Aircraft at Heights Greater Than 10 Feet
- Uses Mechanical Sanders, Buffers, Spray Equipment, Common Hand Tools, etc.
- Prioritizes Safety of Self, Others, and Aircraft
- Wears All PPE as Required
- Prioritizes Safety of Self, Others, and Aircraft
- Obtains and Maintains Respirator Clearance
- Passes Pulmonary Function Test
- Wears Facial Hair Restriction
- Uses Adhesives, Paints, Resins, and Other Preparatory Paint Materials
- Obtains and Maintains Scissor/Boom Lift Certification
- Obtains and Maintains Aluminum Pre-Treatment Certification
- Performs Touch-ups, Sealant Application, and Fillers
- Maintains Equipment Before, During, and After Use
- Ensures Neat, Orderly, and Safe Work Environment
- Identifies and Corrects Paint Defects
- Corrects Paint QC Squawks, Cosmetic Inspection Squawks
- Performs Spot Ins and Work Customer Squawks
Requirements
- 4 years Paint Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Intermediate Knowledge of How to Use Mechanical Sanders, Buffers, Spray Equipment, Common Hand Tools, etc.
- Heightened Attention to Detail
- Ability to Work with and Around Various Adhesives, Paints, Resins, and Other Preparatory Paint Materials
Qualifications
- Able to Wear All PPE as Required
- Ability to Prioritize Safety of Self, Others, and Aircraft
- Ability to Obtain and Maintain Certifications (Scissor/Boom Lift, Aluminum Pre-Treatment)
- Able to Work with Various Adhesives, Paints, Resins, and Other Preparatory Paint Materials
- Able to Obtain and Maintain Certifications (Scissor/Boom Lift, Aluminum Pre-Treatment)

Benefits
Compensation and Benefits: The compensation for this position typically falls between $25.00 and $29.00 per hour. This position is eligible for overtime. This position may be eligible for shift differential. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
