Paint Department Laborer/Hooker-2nd Shift

About the role

Join our 2nd Shift Paint Department and work with our multi-station paint line to ensure steel components are properly finished and meet our high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Use a variety of different hooking mechanisms to assist in hanging steel beams on the paint line.
• Help guide the crane operator to the preferred hanging points.
• Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Ensure that load bars are staged to meet the machines' maximum production ability.
• Monitor parts as they move through the cure oven for final finishing.
• Follow safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

Prior experience on a paint line in a manufacturing setting is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right candidate.
