Paint / Body Technician Weekend Shift (3 days)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and sand equipment components to be painted before applying paint and primer materials
  • Masking and covering of surfaces that do not require painting or touch-up
  • Apply topcoat paint to equipment components
  • Operate paint equipment such as paint guns and abrasive blasting equipment
  • Perform quality inspection on painted components and make necessary touch-up
  • Maintain accurate log and documentation of painting activities
  • Communicate with production teams to ensure timely completion and delivery of products

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification a plus
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related role in the machinery industry
  • Knowledge of paint and finishing techniques
  • Understanding of paint application equipment, including spray guns
  • Ability to utilize sanding and grinding equipment
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and ISO quality systems a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow safety policies and standards
