About the role

Orwigsburg Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is offering a paid CNA training program starting October 2026. This program is designed for individuals looking to become Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who are unsure where to begin. We provide paid training and guarantee a position upon passing the certification exam. The training program lasts 4 weeks and prepares you to confidently undertake the care needs of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Turning or moving patients
• Gathering medical supplies
• Bathing patients
• Grooming patients (brushing hair, teeth, shaving, etc.)
• Feeding patients and documenting their food and liquid intake
• Checking vital signs such as blood pressure and heart rate
• Answering patient calls
• Documenting information
• Cleaning rooms and bed linens
• Stocking supplies
• Assisting with some medical procedures
• Following safety procedures
• Transporting patients
