About the role

This program allows undergraduate students the opportunity to experience firsthand how a television station operates.

Responsibilities

• Spend time in key departments within the television station, such as News Operations, Production/Creative Services, Digital Operations, Technical/Engineering, among other things.
• Demonstrate professionalism and strive to reach the highest standard of excellence.
• Work a specified schedule and work in business attire.
• Possess a strong collaborative spirit and understand the vision and creativity necessary to put on a newscast.
• Show strong comprehensive writing and communication skills.

Requirements

• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• Residents of New York State and/or attending school in New York.
• Must have own transportation and flexibility in hours scheduled.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student.
