About the role

The Fast Track J-1 Intern & Trainee Program, administered by the U.S. Department of State, allows foreigners to gain exposure to U.S. culture and train in their occupational field. Powered by ITN & Odyssey programs through Hosco, the internship can last up to 12 months. Located in New York City—a vibrant hub of luxury hospitality with iconic hotels, gourmet restaurants, and exclusive clubs—the program offers placements at renowned brands such as Montage, Pendry, Marriott, Marcus, Hyatt, Accor, Four Seasons, The Ritz Carlton, and others. Participants rotate through various departments to build practical skills. Program fees start at $2,765 USD and vary with length of stay and services included; financing options are available.

Responsibilities

• Food & Beverage: rotate through different outlets on property to experience most areas of the F&B department in a luxury resort setting.
• Culinary Arts: engage in hands‑on training across diverse facets of culinary arts in a professional kitchen, cultivating skills, creativity, and kitchen‑operations insight.
• Rooms Division: gain practical experience in front desk management, reservation systems, and housekeeping, contributing to exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements

• Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
