Paid Intern

About the Role

This position is primarily for educational or religious purposes, providing valuable educational experiences for the Intern. It offers an opportunity to see how principles and practices learned in educational institutions are applied in an actual work setting. The Intern works under general supervision and performs tasks as assigned by the department.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities may vary by assignment depending on department and need.
• Receives assignments from supervising staff.
• Work is reviewed occasionally by the Manager and upon completion of each assignment by the supervisor.
• Expected to meet rigid and challenging deadlines.
• Work in harmony with other people, take direction on each assignment, and give full attention to detail.
• Requires independence in working, tact, and diplomacy.
• Sound judgment of Church doctrine, history, organization, policy, and protocol is expected.

Qualifications

• Paid Interns must be enrolled in an educational institution or within one year following graduation.
• Must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter.

Only members of the Church who are worthy of a temple recommend qualify for employment.

Schedule

Part-time internship with a 1-year time frame.
