This position is primarily for educational or religious purposes and provides valuable educational experiences for the Intern, offering an opportunity to see how principles and practices learned in educational institutions are applied in an actual work setting.

About the role

Under general supervision, the Intern performs work as assigned by the department. Responsibilities may vary by assignment depending on department and need. The Intern receives assignments from supervising staff, with occasional reviews by the Manager and assignment-by-assignment reviews by the supervisor. The role requires meeting rigid and challenging deadlines, working harmoniously with others, taking direction, and paying full attention to detail. Independence, tact, diplomacy, and sound judgment regarding Church doctrine, history, organization, policy, and protocol are expected.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in an educational institution or within one year following graduation
  • Must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter
  • Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy
