About the role
The Hawaiian Language Immersion Program seeks certified teachers fluent in the Hawaiian language.
Responsibilities
- Teach Hawaiian language immersion programs
- Develop and implement curriculum aligned with Hawaiian language standards
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues and administration
Requirements
- Valid Hawaiian Immersion license from the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board
- Fluent in the Hawaiian language
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent)
- Active pursuit towards meeting Hawaii licensing requirements within 3 years of employment

- Desired Knowledge: Fluent in the Hawaiian language

Pay
New employees can expect their first paycheck within the first 3 pay periods of their start date. Payday is on the 5th and 20th (or previous business day) of every month.
