About the role

The Hawaiian Language Immersion Program seeks certified teachers fluent in the Hawaiian language.

Responsibilities

• Teach Hawaiian language immersion programs
• Develop and implement curriculum aligned with Hawaiian language standards
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues and administration

Requirements

• Valid Hawaiian Immersion license from the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board
• Fluent in the Hawaiian language
• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent)
• Active pursuit towards meeting Hawaii licensing requirements within 3 years of employment

• Desired Knowledge: Fluent in the Hawaiian language

Pay

New employees can expect their first paycheck within the first 3 pay periods of their start date. Payday is on the 5th and 20th (or previous business day) of every month.
