Padres Baseball & Softball Camps Coach/Counselor (4S Ranch - North County Inland)

Core Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe camp environment for all campers
• Manage and motivate campers to have fun each day of camp
• Execute San Diego Padres Baseball Camps Curriculum daily, under the direction of the Site Director
• Provide feedback and suggestions during drills and games
• Highlight teachable moments for campers to learn and grow from
• Work together with other team members from various backgrounds to uphold the Padres Baseball Camps stellar reputation

Qualifications

• Be prepared to make a commitment Monday-Friday for approximately eight hours per day, preferably for a minimum 3-5 week commitment
• Padres Baseball & Softball Camps run every week from June 8, 2026 to August 14, 2026
• Be prepared to travel to each site with reliable transportation of your own
• Able to pass a comprehensive background screening

Requirements

• Experience working with children ages 4-13
• Experience coaching and/or playing baseball/softball at a high school level or higher
• A passion for teaching and providing quality leadership in an engaging and energetic way
• Able to connect with children both one-on-one and in a group setting
• Lead by example with strong character, integrity, and a positive attitude
• Dependable and reliable; someone we can count on to be there, no matter what

Interview Process

• Receive an invitation to complete a one-way video interview
• Complete a 15 minute virtual interview with our General Manager
• Final decision!

Compensation

• Professional Educator: $23.50/hour (requires at least 1 school year of paid teaching experience and/or proof of teaching certification)
• Coach: $20.00/hour
• College Student/Recent Graduate: $18.00/hour
