PAD Casino Porter - On-Call

About the role

The Casino Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all public areas to the highest standards of excellence while delivering professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company’s brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. – Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity).

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, mop, wash and clean all debris from floors.
• Clean and sanitize all sinks, toilets and urinals using various chemicals as directed.
• Clean and empty trash receptacles; push and pull 50 lbs. or more trash bins.
• Pick up and properly dispose of all empty beer bottles and glasses.
• Clean, empty and wipe all ashtrays and replace missing ones.
• Clean slot machines, carousels and stools.
• Clean all gaming tables and chairs.
• Respond immediately to all blood borne calls, broken glass and/or wet/dry spills.
• Sign in and out for keys, radios and equipment daily and return every item in good working condition.
• Use positive customer service at all times.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.

Requirements

• Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results.
• Basic reading, writing and speaking skills in English.
• Ability to communicate with guests, co-workers and supervisors and understand procedures.
• Mental alertness to achieve a high level of accuracy in completing tasks.
• Able to work with various chemicals and cleaning equipment.
• Lifting and/or pulling 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
• Must be able to communicate over the radio in English.
• Must be able to complete standard forms and reports.
• High School education preferred.
• Six months of housekeeping-related work experience preferred.
• Minimum age requirement is 21.
