PACU RN - Full-Time

About the role

This RN position is based at a surgery center specializing in otolaryngology and ophthalmology procedures, focusing on peri-anesthesia care, including pre- and post-operative patient management.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care, assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing activities.
• Educate patients and families on illness management, medication, and post-treatment care.
• Participate in safety, quality, and compliance initiatives while engaging in professional development.
• Develop and communicate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• RN license required; no prior experience necessary, but 2+ years of nursing experience is a plus.
• PACU, ICU, ED, or critical care RN experience required.
• Relevant certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS) are essential.

Schedule

Full-time, set schedule with no call, weekends, or holidays.
