PACU Nurse

About the role

Provide immediate post-operative patient care, including airway management, neurological and cardiac monitoring, wound care, and ensuring patient stability during recovery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care
• Assess and document patient condition
• Educate patients and families
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Respond promptly to complications
• Provide initial wound care

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• At least 1 year of critical care experience (ICU, ER, PACU)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (must be obtained within 90 days of employment)
