About the Role
The PACU Registered Nurse provides immediate post-operative care, managing airway support, monitoring neurological and cardiac status, and responding to complications. Responsibilities include initial wound care, ensuring patient stability, collaborating with surgical and anesthesia teams, delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care, assessing and documenting patient conditions, and educating patients and families.
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Associate degree in Nursing
- Critical care experience (ICU, ER, PACU)
- Certifications: BLS/CPR (required within 30 days), PALS (within 1 year), Trauma Care (within 6 months)
- Strong critical thinking, technical skills, and leadership abilities
