Our manufacturing facility in Miami, Oklahoma, stands as a testament to the pet care industry's excellence. Nestled along the Historic Route 66 in northeast Oklahoma, near the borders of Kansas, Missouri, and Arkansas, this facility has been producing a wide array of pet treat products and brands since its inception in 1997. With an unwavering commitment to quality and safety, our factory plays a pivotal role in serving a vast region as we drive the future of pet treat innovation. As a Packing Operator, you’ll focus on ensuring that our equipment and machinery remain in top-notch condition. Your ability to acclimate and problem solve quickly will be critically important as unforeseen equipment issues may arise throughout the normal operation day.
Responsibilities
- Plan, assemble, fabricate, or repair crates, boxes, cartons, and other packaging containers of large or unusual size or shape.
- Prepare finished products for shipment or storage by placing them in proper shipping containers.
- Perform quality checks and meet product specifications.
- Maintain a safe and clean workplace.
- Perform sanitation duties and material handling.
- Safely and efficiently operate, troubleshoot, and make minor repairs on operating equipment using lock out procedures, as prescribed.
- Utilize computer technology and basic math skills to effectively perform job requirements.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment
- Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.
Schedule
3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Monday-Friday
Pay
$21.04 per hour
Bonus Eligibility: Yes
The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
