Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Carry out pre-start safety and sanitation inspections.
- Operate conveyor belts and packaging machinery.
- Ensure packaging machines are set to correct settings and speeds.
- Verify product weights, coding, and labeling.
- Conduct quality control checks and document findings.
- Identify and isolate out-of-specification products.
- Write work orders for equipment repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Support and train Packers.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Minimum six months of manufacturing or production experience is preferred.
- Ability to make basic mechanical adjustments is required.
- Independent and fast-paced environment skills are necessary.
- Willingness to lift up to 70 pounds and work overtime and weekends is expected.
