Packing and Organizing Team Leader (Online selling experience a plus)

About the role

We're looking for a Team Leader with experience in online sales, auctions, and similar platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience sorting and organizing homes, capturing details of items, and supporting seniors.

Responsibilities

• Sort and organize homes by categorizing belongings into sell, donate, dispose, or move to the new home.
• Photograph items to highlight their uniqueness and appeal on CTBIDS.com.
• Research and determine the value of antiques, collectibles, and household items.
• Serve as a sales staff and/or cashier during in-person estate sales.
• Assist seniors with packing belongings, preparing for moves, and unpacking/resettling into new homes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Proficiency with smartphones for quickly photographing items and uploading to the auction app.
• Experience or working knowledge in researching and determining market values for various item categories.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Experience or working knowledge in researching and determining market values for items across a variety of categories is preferred.
• Flexible schedule with no guaranteed hours.
• Part-time, as needed position.
• Pay rate of $20.00 per hour.
• Must pass a background check.

Skills

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, sometimes dirty, and cluttered environments.
• Comfort working in outdoor areas such as sheds, garages, attics, porches, etc.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, climb, and stand for extended periods.
• Proficiency with smartphones and photography software.
