Packer Lead - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day workflow, training, and troubleshooting in a multi-temperature environment, including temperatures at or below freezing.
• Use WMS or other systems/reports to track and review productivity, ensuring goals, deadlines, and outputs are met accurately and efficiently.
• Provide constructive and timely feedback to associates (one-on-one or in group settings) regarding performance and productivity.
• Conduct start-up meetings for the entire department as needed.
• Assist in updating and documenting process changes and training plans.
• Positively impact retention by fostering a respectful team environment through professional communication, motivation, and timely problem resolution.
• Work on the floor in a production role during non-peak times, performing manual labor as required.
• Adhere to all safety, security, and SQF requirements.
• Perform other duties and work in other departments as assigned.
• Maintain reasonable and reliable attendance.
• Maintain professionalism, sincerity, and enthusiasm that reflects the company’s commitment to delivering smiles.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Ability to communicate with employees at all levels (peers, management, and employees).
• Previous warehouse management system and SAP knowledge preferred.

Skills

• Ability to read and follow labels, processes, and instructions.
• Basic math skills.

Physical Demands

• Ability to work in a cold storage environment (-10° to 40°).
• Lift up to 30 lbs continuously and 50 lbs on occasion.
• Walk and stand for entire shift (8-10 hours) and stoop, kneel, crawl, and climb.

Schedule

Sunday - Thursday: 4:30 PM - 1:00 AM
