Packer

Responsible for the final stages of the production process, ensuring that all orders are correctly packaged and prepared for delivery to the consumer. Retrieve orders from the Assembly department and package them for outgoing deliveries. Confirm all parts listed on the sales order are present prior to packing. Package orders using proper packing supplies and tools (tape guns, box cutters, etc.). Read special instructions on each order to maintain compliance with shipping standards. Send incomplete orders back to matching for re‑work. Follow and comply with all safety regulations, ISO procedures, lean initiatives, and lean events. Maintain knowledge of the shipping process, cross‑training as necessary. Assist in other departments as needed. Other tasks as assigned. Highlight cross‑functional collaboration and ownership; emphasize continuous improvement and efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Pay

The expected pay range for this role is $16.50 – $17.00 per hour. Final compensation will depend on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity.

Schedule

2nd Shift, Full‑time, Monday–Friday 2:00 pm–10:00 pm. Must have the ability to work overtime hours.
